International Day for Tolerance

Today is International Day for Tolerance, which makes us reflect on our differences. Differences make us strong. That’s why we don’t just tolerate them. Tolerance is respect, acceptance, and appreciation of the rich diversity of our world's cultures, our forms of expression, and ways of being human. It is a vital part of every healthy society. To respect people’s rights and freedoms, we must appreciate differences. Tolerance is the practice of love and conscience. Tolerance minimizes misunderstanding and promotes goodwill.
